BMW i3 will produce in the end of the year 2013 or about the beginning of the year 2014. On the first production of this model about 100,000 unit, after the testing of all performance of this car that seem to be successful done in the prooving ground Miramas, Marseilles.
This car is preparing by BMW to compete with their car competitor Audi A2 which using Aluminum chases and carbonic body. Not like other usual sedan, this BMW i3 locate the engine on the back of the body, with the purpose can make balance center point right in about the car center when fast running or when the move in low gravitation. BMW i3 use moving driver hybrid technology with electric motor 170 PS is bigger than BMW with engine 1.5 lliter that use just 80 PS. Acceleration of this car from 0 to 100 km/h just need 7.9 seconds, but the maximum speed just limited until 150 km/h.
Other new technology use on this car is use one pedal control technology, mean that one pedal will accelerate and decelerate base on the pedal pressing that use active brake control. Other safety accessories use like park assist, pedastrian control, congestion assist, range assist (location guide), precondition assist and Navigation assist.
